In the temple town of Nathdwara, the cow is never just an animal. She is gau mata, the gentle keeper of Krishna's childhood in Vrindavan, present in almost every Pichwai canvas painted for Shrinathji's shrine. This serving tray carries that same devotional lineage onto solid mango wood, painted freehand by our artists in the layered, jewel-toned style Pichwai is known for.

Every curve of the cow's form and every border flourish is built up in thin, patient strokes, the way Pichwai painters have worked for generations, so no two trays carry the brushwork in quite the same way. The finished piece is sealed and made food-safe, ready to hold fruit, snacks, or a pot of tea, or simply to lean against a wall as a standalone piece of art.

Will the tray look exactly like the photos?

How do I clean and care for it?

No conditioning is required. The mango wood is sealed and ready to use as soon as it arrives. Just keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight and excess moisture to preserve the paint.
