Kerala Mural Brass Iron Box – Hand-painted Decor Design 4

This handle layers a flowing red-and-orange scroll pattern beneath a row of small white flowers, edged with fine dotted trim along both ends. The combination of pattern and ornament gives the handle real visual density — the kind of detail that rewards a second, closer look.

This box began as a genuine vintage charcoal iron. Our artisans restore the brass body in full, keeping its original coal slots and latch mechanism intact, and hand-paint an entirely new design onto the handle. The scrollwork is drawn freehand in continuous, flowing lines, with the white florals and dotted trim added afterward as a final layer — an involved, multi-stage process that shows in the density of the finished pattern.

Its intricacy makes it a strong standalone display piece. It's a considered gift for someone who appreciates detailed, labour-intensive handwork, alongside its story as an upcycled antique object.
