Goddess Kali is an embodiment of female power who stands as a feminist icon and incarnation of shakti(Parvati). She is the ultimate expression of nature, both destructive and benevolent. She protects her people against evil by doing what others cannot to protect those she loves.

Here, the face of Ma Kali is painstakingly hand-carved in Rose Wood and is hand-painted in brass finish. The border of this art frame is done in Red, believed as her favorite colour, with Alpona art (which is an intregral part of the Kali Pooja). The red hibiscus is generally used in the worship of Ma Kali. This showcases the significance of the hibiscus flowers installed on all four corners of this art frame.
