Magnets with Talapatra chitra (tala-palm, patra-leaf, chitra-painting), a sacred art of Orissa. The art goes back to the time when there was no pen or paper and people recorded everything on these palm leaves.

These magnets are painstakingly engraved using hand tools and then hand painted.
